  This catastrophe started off with about a 6 minute wait at the hostess table. When we walked in there was no one to greet us which is not out of the ordinary when the restaurant is busy but it was not and we soon found out why. My family and I were then taken to a booth near the front of the restaurant, having small children they, of course, needed to go to the bathroom. My wife and I took turns taking the children in case the waiter/waitress came to the table asking our drink order. During the 15 minute wait to order, I noticed the electronic tablet on the table, I asked the couple sitting behind us if a physical person came to the table or we ordered using the machine. The couple stated that a person comes but they are "very slow". I pushed the call button on the device and it began to flicker like a beacon. A few minutes more and we met our waitress. Because of the wait we had plenty of time to look over the menu and play several games of tic tac toe with the kids. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time to try and speed up the process- it didnt help in the long run. We received our drinks, of course my Pepsi was flat but I dealt with it. After a few more rounds of tic tac toe, our food arrived. Luckily our orders were right. My son who ordered a kids meal hamburger could not bite the bun. We tried to cut the burger in half but the bread was so stale. We asked the waitress who was making her 15 minute rounds for another bun. I guess the manager finally noticed our electronic beacon flashing from before and he crept over and starred at us. We asked for another bun for the kids burger. He said ok and then walked over to the waitress and told her, while she was again just making her rounds. 5 minutes later we recieved another bun. We quickly ate our food and paid on the still blinking machine which took several times to read our card. We decided that we will never darken the doors of this restaurant again. I understand slow when your busy but not when you more staff than customers. Like I said on the review of our probably still blinking electronic tablet Ridiculous.

  This is one of my favorite places in Kinston. Food is great, drinks are great and the staff is courteous and friendly. I have never had a bad experience and have been a customer for many years,

  Service sucks my food was cold. And to top it off they were out of what I wanted. Would give negtave thumbs. Manager is a complete dushbag.
